Excessive Brake Dust

Excessive Brake Dust

Can anyone give me a remedy for excessive brake dust on my 04 g35x sedan? I cant seem to keep them clean..

quickest/cheapest solution - get yourself some Wheel Wax, wash your wheels well, and apply the wax. it'll keep the wheels from getting as dirty.

second solution, obviously, change the brake pads.

i had the same problem .. massive dust from oem pads ...

switched to hawk pads ..

three days so far and no brake dust visible like with oem pads ..

Changing to Hawk pads won't really solve the brake dust problem but will minimize the dust build-up on the wheels. I've had my Hawks on for a while, and even after a week or so I'll have to get down and clean the black dust off from the spokes.

Project Mu B force, had them for 2 weeks now, minimal brake dust compared to OEM. BTW, I have an 04 6MT (Brembo's)

HA! I can wash my car at night and by the time I get to work the color of my wheel will have already changed with a clear black tint. If it took a week for mine to get dirty I'd be thrilled. I'm never getting OEM pads ever again.
