Re: Leather HELP!!!
I've previously used the Lexol on my '95 G20t, and have NOT been happy with the results. The combination of the application and sunlight seemed to encourage faster deterioration of the leather. The leather has shrunken and gotten stiff over time. It seemed to have the effect one would expect if Crisco Oil were poured on the leather, and it combined with the sun's rays to broil it; think cooked bacon.
Following the advice of leather restoration shops and various car clubs (it's recommended by Rolls Royce, and the Ford Museum uses it), I've just ordered some Leatherique. It's expensive ($155 for a gallon each of the rejuvenator and cleaner; less for smaller bottles), but then again, it would be much more expensvie to have the seats reupholstered. I'm hoping it will revive my G20s interior. I'll report back after I've applied it.
For those interested, here's the link: http://www.leatherique.com/

Re: Leather HELP!!!
Been there, done that. No more impressive than the other off-the-shelf leather cleaner/treatment made by wax mfrs.

Re: Leather HELP!!!
I also use Lexol. Cleaner and conditioner. I also have used it in various cars since the early seventies (I was 3.....or maybe not). VERY happy with it in multiple cars over the years.
Back then, the only place I could find it was a saddle shop. It seems to be in every auto store now.

Re: Leather HELP!!!
It was a Cadillac, a 70-something Eldorado. It wasn't mine (unfortunately), I took care of cars for a neighbor. They also had horses. One day I tried the saddle cleaner/conditioner on the leather interior. It was great, and I've used it ever since.
Re: Leather HELP!!!
That's what I figured, not many other cars had leather back then, this new leather is a lot softer than that old Caddy leather, isn't it! That was a classy car back in those days! The Japanese cars weren't too well built back then, damned cheap too!!! (in more than cost)
