Hi, I was just wondering what %would look good on Ivory Pearl Coupe. If there is some pictures it will be greatful. Also, I was wondering if anyone did tint kind of similar to Lexus 300RX(like has some mirror effect with little bit of color in it). If so plz post some pictures so I can see how good it appear in Ivory Pearl. Thank you ~

 

I wouldn't do mirror on ivory. The nice thing about white colors is just about any % looks great.

from what i've read on other posts stay away from the mirrror tint....because of the rear window area of the car the mirror tint tends to show up the black border much more than a conventional tint color...let us know what % you went with...
I want to do my ivory pearl coupe as well...but in New Jersey I've been hassled several times with other cars that I had tinted...so I'm really hesitant with this one...LOL <font color=blue>2old4this</font color=blue>

do 35% on the 4 side windows, and 20% rear window

That way you wont get hassled too much, cops wont pull you over if they can see you, 35% they can still see you, especially if you have willow interior...

What color is your interior? If it's Willow I'd go with the brown tints. If it's Graphite do the dark greys...

I have 50% all around on my car and so far cops have pulled up next to me and haven't bothered me at all. To see pics click on my signature below...

 

i think 35% is good... i also have IP... im plannin to get 35% all around cept windshield... dont get mirror, i think mirror tint looks best on silver cars only...

 

mirror tint really pisses cops off. its just not worth it. i used to do 5% all around of the black tint. but after a while, i got tired of the harrassment from the cops. its embarrassing, especially when you are with a girl. i stick to 20% these days. it looks nice and simple. i have a black g and it blends right in.

 

I went with 20% all around and it looks damn good.

to people who have tinted their cars: did the installer tint the sunroof? are they suppose to or do you have to ask for it?

 

sunroof is always separate unless specifically stated. Here's mine: Madico Onyx 55% fr. windshield & fr. doors, 35% rears:

i went 20% all around, except the front.. it couldn't look any better and i couldn't be happier..
