Detail with Random Orbit Sander?!

Hey guys, I got an 05 OB coupe couple months ago, and enjoying every moment of it! except seeing all those swirls :/

So I've been detailing my car by hand til now (saving up to buy a PC or the like), but I found this random orbit sander in my garage today. I'm guessing I can use this somehow with some type of polishing pad? I'm really not sure if I should use this or not. (dont wanna screw up the paint even more) I'm new to all this detailing stuff so please help out!

Heres a link to what i have

The backing is velcro if that helps. Wat would I need to get to polish and wax with this?

The problem with that sander is that there probably no pad attachements available for it. Also, it probably doesn't have enough power to properly break down polishes since its only 2.4A. Buy a PC or UDM if you really want to polish your car.

Yea there probably arent any pad attachments, but since the backing is velcro, a microfiber applicator pad stuck onto it decently.

I really would like the PC or UDM but right now its either my hands or the sander. I'm washing/detailing first thing in the morning tomorrow so cant even buy one in time.

Could this possibly mess up my paint somehow? should I just stick with hand polish/wax until i get a PC/UDM?

I seen someone use that same exact sander with the 5.5 orange pads. Sure it took him long to do it, but it worked for him. Also he use optimum polish with it too.
