No, not a sealant vs wax topic! I remember reading that people used a combination of both to get an awesome deep look.

A friend of mine is coming back from the states during christmas and he's offering to bring some stuff for me. So anyone of you do this? Any tips?

Weather around here means I can only show the stuff during summer/spring. Too much rain in fall/winter. So I'd want to go for sealants during winter as they're suppose to last longer.

First you put sealant and then wax for the shiniest. Just read picus how to car care.

 

You will NEED to apply your sealant first before the wax. Wax will adhere to sealant but not the other way around....so this part is very important. It's also recommended that you let your sealant cure for at least 24 hours before you apply your wax over top of it. Adding a good quality Carnuba over a sealant will give you some great depth to your paint finish and an awesome wet look.

 

Sounds good guys. I really also wanted to get into the zaino thing. I'm looking at the total protection kit since I have no need for the leather/tire care. However, it seems there are no waxes, and picus says Z5 is a sealant but they say polish. I'm sort of confused with zaino's use of wording.

What to go for? Currently, I use megs nxt and I'm expecting to do wax/sealant applications four times a year. The one thing that I really like is how people boast having multiple layers of zaino.
