My review of Optimum No Rinse

First I just want to thank everybody who through threads I've started, and reading others, have shared their feelings about ONR. I would have never looked at it.

Got mine in the mail, and brought it straight to the garage. Long story...but getting water to my garage and driveway isn't easy so this is a great solution. My first impressions of ONR are great! I used one bucket, grit guard, normal MF mitt, and a few MF towels. Mixed extremely easy, went on smooth and effortlessly, and really removed dirt and grime better than I thought it would. Only better...it smells great. I really wasn't worried too much about my paint using it, because I really felt like it was pulling the dirt off instead of just rubbing it around. I actualy kind of like washing one spot and drying it at the same time too because once you're done...you're done! And there really was not any major water spillage on my garage floor, few drops and such here and there but nothing worth worrying about.

I will still hook up my assortment of hoses and give it a full wash probably monthly, but this is a great interim solution for me personally do wash my car at least weekly. So thanks again to everybody for turning me onto this product...

Just a bump for this great product. I'm literally blown away every time I use it:

I washed my car yesterday. Today when I get off work, something had sprayed on my car. It sort of looked like some drops from a tree, but they were all over the right side of my car. I really didn't feel like pulling my car out and washing again, so I went with the ONR. So easy, so effective, took 15 minutes, and my car was back to clean.

+1 for ONR. I use it for my cars as well. It's a great solution for an easy wash without a lot of hassle. It can take off the dirt very well. I also use Poorboys Super Slick and Suds for when the cars are very dirty. ONR is an awesome product! Great review BTW.

Its not what i reach for when I need to wash, but when its crazy hot (summer) and I didn't wake up early enough to wash it, I just prepare some ONR and wash it in my garage.

I find that a sheepskin works best for me. All of Optimum's products are good or great. No bad ones there.

ONR works great for me too!

I got ONR last week. As soon as I got it, I washed my G35 and my wife's Rav 4.
It is great product.

Since my home owner's association banned car wash, this ONR will be the permanent car wash solution for me.

By the way, I also got DP 4 in 1 along with ONR. (I just wanted try DP product, since some people say it is better than ONR)

When I have chance to use DP, I will post my opinion here.

I have ONR too but what's the safest amount you'll need to guarantee it won't cause any scratches?

just use it according to the recommended dilution ratio. if its super dirty, spray it down first then use the ONR

I've used both ONR and QEW, and I like both, but for different reasons. QEW releases the dirt and grime better in the rinse bucket, but the finish is not as slick when I'm done, and ONR leaves a better finish but I have to use more mitts because they become dirty faster and only rinse out later when I wash them with a little bit of laundry detergent
