I live in the north side of town. I do not own a g35 right now, but currently drive a miata. I do love g35's though, that's why i hang out here a lot. check out showcargarage.com they have a lot of reviews about the new nxt tech wax and it's ability to fill in swirls.

Hey Slim, what color is your ride, I have a black car, and would like to cut back on the ZZZZZ thing but only if I get a
better shine and filled in swirls with NXT, have you tested both
Zaino and NXT..

Gboy,
Yes, I have used both. I do prefer the look of the meguiars nxt tech wax gives my black paint over zaino. I just applied another coat of nxt tech wax last night and this product just keeps me amazed everytime i use it. It'll give your paint a darker reflection and wettness that i haven't been able to achieve from zaino or any other sealants.

Re: Goodbye, fine scratches...
I found on the site www.gurureports.org somebody that did
a test with NXT and Zaino and Zaino came out on top in every
dept. so looks like I will stay with them for now, there stuff is long lasting, I'm in the North and the winters are pretty bad so I need long lasting stuff, but the end is coming, snow tires
off next week, then April the car gets the whole nine yards
protection

I'm giving my car a "spring cleaning" gift... having it color sanded and buffed. I couldn't deal with the swirls anymore My zaino kit comes on Monday, so it'll get the full treatment afterwards, too. Here's to shiney black cars!

You been able to keep your car clean the last few weeks GeoBau? I think we keep getting the same weather you guys have been, it's coming from that direction anyway, damn, it's been almost two weeks since I've been able to wash my car, this week doesn't look much better!

Re: Goodbye, fine scratches...
It's been spotty forever... driving me insane. I don't have a hose (not that I could USE it in Vegas), so my normal washing ritual is right out the door. I've figured out how to wash it, etc. here, so that won't be a problem in the future. My garage door broke, so I had to park it under the carport thing, and it's been raining non-stop, so... crappy weather, crappy-looking car. Time to start anew.

Re: Goodbye, fine scratches...
Mine doesn't look too bad, I've been able to avoid driving in most of the bad weather, but you still get some of it on the car, yesterday it snowed in the morning, stayed home until mid afternoon, by then most roads were dry, whew!! Still is two eeeks worth of dirt though, sheesh!

Re: Goodbye, fine scratches...
Geo: Ya might want to consider a steam cleaning for the interior while you are at it. "AMF Blue" doesn't match well with the Willow interior.

*calm breathing*

Yes. Yes, I might want to clean the vomit out of the back of my car. Good idea. I'll make sure I do that. At least it was just a little dribble. Remind me to slap he who vomited
