Geo,
Always equip your drunk passengers with a garbage bag (everyone knows that!)
As for the Zaino, not a believer in Z1, especially on a dark car (as many users have complained of streaks on darker cars). [never really understood Z1's utility- Zaino's website says if you use ZFX, you don't need Z1, but one is a curing catalyst and the other is a surface prep? These do not sound like substitutes to me.]
Recommend:
Wash with Dawn, rinse, clay bar, wash with dawn, rinse, chamois. Z5, Z6, Z5, Z6, Z2, Z6, Z2, Z6. (Z2 and Z5 with ZFX added, Z5 coats one day, Z2 coats the next. Remember that Z5 should not be applied in swirls, rather straight lines pointing to the ground. Sounds like work, but really most of it is waiting on cure time. My friend and I got his dark slate blue 2000 Saab looking like new using this approach. He bought it as a lease buy back, and the previous non-owner had not taken car of the finish, so the result was really impressive.
Welcome to the dark side.

Cheers,
Derek

Better yet, don't take any drunks for a ride in your car, them or smokers, LOL!

Well, he didn't seem drunk... and in his defense, he aimed for
"out the window", but instead hit the side of my car, and dribbled into the interior. Hm.

Anyway, I've got the ZFX stuff, and don't plan on having to use Z1. Of course, when I get my car back from being worked on, I'll baby it like there's no tomorrow...

Stealing the thread here:
My buddy tells the story of his Grandma getting Mickey D takeout, takes the lid off her chocolate shake because it's too thick, then deciding she doesn't like it, she throws it out the window. Except the window wasn't open.

Ooooh, that sucks.

In that same vain, a friend of mine once hocked a loogie out his winow and missed... it stuck to the doorjam on the passanger side. I made him clean it off, then I stopped by the side of the very busy road we were on, made him get out, and let him stand there while I drove off and blew off some steam. I picked him up some time later...
