do u guys have creases in your leather seats on the left side of driver seat?

i noticed this on my old car too and it got pretty bad.. in the g35 coupe, theyre not big, but some creases are starting to show, but its only on the left side of the drivers seat.. i guess its from getting in and out of the car. do u guys have the same thing?

whats the best way to remove these creases (if possible) and prevent them? would leather conditioners help, such as these:

i see a lot of people recommending lexor leather conditioner for conditioning the leather, but not sure if that would help w/ the creases?

thanks

Yeah we all get it. I have an the same problem on my seats, its just bad leather from Infiniti. I think its not even real leather its a mix of leather and vinyl. Anyway, point is its not german leather or Cadi leather, its cheap nissan leather lol.

Yeah my car has it both on the driver and passenger side. Can't really remove them. But you can reduce them from more coming if you keep conditioning you leather

Think it's more of a bad choice of cushion material throughout the car. I think it's way too soft so when there's a driver, the leather just folds in from the weight. My wife's Jeep leather still looks great (minus the steering wheel leather), cushioning still feels solid and it's hardly conditioned or cleaned. I do have to say that our leather seems to "absorb" colors from stuff that you put on them. Like my black cd case for example. Leave it in the rear seat for a week and you can see where the corners have been and there's indentations and streaks/blotches of black. Same with the seats and blue jeans. I can see real faint blue splotches. Should've gotten black interior!

Lol, i have the black interior and yeah you wont see the jean prints or cd rings. The beige/tan leather hides creases a lot better than the black leather. I put conditioner on my leather all the time and its kept up the leather pretty good, but the side cushions that wrap around my legs are killer.

Try wetting (don't soak it) the leather and then drying it with a hairdryer.
This my help by shrinking the leather hide. If the foam has been deformed the only remedy is replacement

My 04 developed the same thing within 1 year of ownership. I thought it strange for a car of this quality to have this problem.

All leather seats eventually age, which isn't a bad thing. But in this case, my left seat bolster was sagging and wrinkling over on itself.

I had my car in for service, and I told my service writer about the problem. After looking at my seat, he assured me this isn't normal.

They went ahead and ordered me a new foam cushion and replacement leather seat bottom. That was back in 05.

To this day I haven't had any problems with the seat. I make sure not to "plop" on the bolster when I enter and exit the car. Seems to have worked for me.....
