Re: anyone use Mr. Clean AutoDry?

there is an indicator on the filter. however, the starter kit filter does not have an indicator. so you just have to be aware you only get 1-3 washes using it. replacement filters will have an indicator and i believe more washes come out of it.

Re: anyone use Mr. Clean AutoDry?

Where did you get the $5 coupons (newspaper, direct mail, etc.)?

There is so much pollen where I park at work and I need to wash my Black G a couple of times a week. I use a California Duster once or twice after a complete wash but I don't want to get scratches so I feel its better to wash after two wipes. The Mr. Clean car wash would be perfect between the weekend detailing.

It's a never ending battle keeping a black car clean...

I couldn't wait for the marketing people at Mr. Clean to get around to me so I checked online and found the coupons there. Click on or paste the following link in your browser and follow the steps to get the cupons mailed to you.

coolio... thanks for the link!

ntylion... your link goes to the same site as coolio's for some reason. but thanks!

i was eyeing mr clean at target and even watched the little 13" tv they set up to show the demo video. i just might try it out on the days i'm too lazy to do a full handwash/dry.

g35girl,

You are right - it is the same link. I didn't realize the Coupon in coolio's msg WAS the LINK (I was looking for the http://www...). Sorry, I'm technologically inept.

Re: anyone use Mr. Clean AutoDry?

Product is great but the soap refills are 6 bucks for a tiny little 10 oz bottle. It takes quite a bit of soap for one wash. I tried using a different soap and it left a weird gummy crud randomly all over the car. Anyone have success with other soaps?

Re: anyone use Mr. Clean AutoDry?

catatafish... what kind of different soap did you use? do you use the whole 10 oz bottle for 1 car or can it be used for 1-2 cars?

i received 2 mr clean coupons in the mail on 4/13/04 (requested on 3/26/04). but with the weather clearing and warming up, i might hold off on mr clean and handwash the car instead.
