Great post! This is exactly what I'm looking for! The driver side bolster plastic piece ripped my leather and the passenger side bolster has way too wrinkled bad (sorry no pics camera's broke) Good to know it can be replaced under warranty.
BTW - does anyone have this written somewhere in their warranty. I couldn't seem to find it. Just so I won't have any hassles at the dealership. Thanks!

We can't be speaking of the same process if you consider it to not take much skill. It's a process similar to a body shop uses for a repair. They prep and sand the surface, fill cracks/creases with filler, sand again, prep, colour match (leather seats don't have colour coded dyes), use gun to spray dye. Any flaws are very visible to the eye.
On the other hand polishing a car and applying paint protection is something most anyone can do with a few minutes of instruction. The average person could not become competent with leather repair and seat dying in a few minutes.
Not the same comparison at all IMO.

my driver seat has a lot of cracks on the outside edge. i have 66 k on them.i was thinking of using this guy to repair the seat http://materi-all.com/ . i just dont know if it will last. i can have the leather panel replaced for 350 or the sand and repair for 150 tops what do you guys think.
