looking to buy PC 7424 - retail stores?

Anyone know where to buy a porter cable 7424 - prefer to go to a store but will buy online if there aren't any choices...

I live in Los Angeles, CA - if that helps.

Thanks,

-Daniel

Since Lowe's cleared them out a few years ago they have been very scarce in B&M locations.

Sometimes you can find them in Home Depot or Lowes. If not we offer packages that include the backing plate, pads, pad cleaners, and more to overall save some money on your investment. Here's a link to our Porter Cable 7424 and on the bottom of the description you'll find some packages to go along with it.

Good luck, you're going to enjoy the PC!

should have bought the UDM. 20% more power, less vibration and gets the job done faster.

I was reading posts that insinuated there were some unresolved issues with the UDM?

I thought UDM was more spendy as well?

From my findings, there isn't much of a difference between the UDM and PC. It's the same OPM just a little stronger motor. PC is very reputable and if you need service done on it, finding an authorized center to work on it is easy. With the UDM, that is a different story. If you are going to move up to the UDM for more power, you might as well make a significant jump and move to the Flex XC 3401 VRG.

Daniel, we greatly appreciate your support, I'm sure you'll love your new PC. If you have any questions on anything, please do not hesitate to ask.

George
