How do you smoke the clear corners?

Probably a stupid question...but do you use a certain type of paint? If so does it need to be clearcoated as well?

i dont have pics, but i smoked my clear corners. I just went to the local hobby shop, and bought a model spray paint, basically called "tint". I dont like the look of darker clear corners though, so i'm gonna paint thinner it off. Hope this was a help

How well does the bulb shine thru it w/ it painted?

it shines enough to see it...
the way the tint paint works..you apply it layer by layer..
let one layer dry fully..then apply the next
basically until u achieve the darkness that you want, but light definitely shines through at night...you can hardly tell its tinted
