The Best Deep Gloss

I am about to order a Porter Cable Buffer and products. Don't want to waste any money and would love some input. Pinnical or Zaino or whatever. I have a 06 Pearl and I'm not afraid of the work it will take to get the best gloss and protection. Do you use the Porter Cable with Zaino? Any input is welcome.

Yes you could apply zaino with the porter cable at speed 3-4 with a blue lake country pad.

Zaino is not very deep, you want a good carnuaba possibly with a glaze applied underneath for the a deep finish. I recommend Danase wet glaze(DWG) topped with S100(get it from a harley dealership). Don't expect it to last much more than a month or so, but it will be DEEP

I went for the Menzerna series personally. Haven't had a chance to use it yet. Definitely go with Detailed Image and get 10% off for being a member here

Highly recommend detailedimage.com. I also have an IP, I use menzerna polish topped with poorboys exp sealant then natty's paste wax (carnuaba) for the added gloss..

+1 on Detailed Image. They have good prices, and George is always willing to answer questions and give advice.

I use a PC7424 with Menzerma polishes, Zaino sealants, and a final coat of a good 'nuba wax for added depth and gloss.

In between washes/details, I use a California Duster (VERY lightly) and Zaino quick detail spray with a microfiber towell to remove dust and prevent swirls/marring.

Thank you guys for the praise and recommendations to go with Detailed Image. The deepest depth and gloss is going to come from proper prep work by removing as much contamination and imperfections on your paint as possible. Beyond that you can top it with a glaze, sealant and wax to get the most out of your paint. If you need a hand selecting some products, please do not hesitate to ask.

George

you are basically removing micro layers of clear coat everytime you polish so yes it is possible to polish the clear coat to a very thin layer...of course this would take ALOT of polishing i would imagine
