Angry Rims Scratched

Well, I always let my family use my car when I am not using it and I just saw that all four of my wheels are curb scratched. I am planning on taking pictures and showing them here

What are the best options and how much would they take me back?

Well I guess the good news is that you have a few different options.

1. Buy new wheels.
2. Take it to the dealership if you purchased the wheel warranty package.
3. Try to find a shop where they can sand the curbed wheel
4. Do nothing

I would go with option 4...especially if you plan on letting your family still use your car. I had this happen to me the third or fourth day I owned the car, and now I could care less. It comes with the territory of owning a car...Say you do get it fixed and fork out a hundred dollars or so and then the same thing happens down the road. I hate to be pessimistic about the situation, but I guess I'm just being a realist.

lol, I have another year on the lease. I will just wait till a month before and just go ahead and have it sanded.

The dealer never asked me if I wanted to get the Wheel and Tire warranty, how much do those usually run for?

Here in Houston there are several places where they fix wheels. Prices range from $100-150 per wheel. I had my Audi TT wheels fixed before I returned it to Audi. They looked brand new.

since your nice enough to lend out your vehicle to your family, why not suggest each one cough up the money to fix one wheel a piece? They will cost on average around $90-150, depending on the damage.
