Is it necessary to polish after claybar
The benefits would be the same as if you polished at any time. Clarbars remove contaminents. It's not really a polisher. So if you have scratches or marring before claybaring, it will be there after.
Like Jeff said...they are two very different processes.
If you are looking to get rid of contaminants(overspray, etc) then claybar is your choice. But if you have marring, swirls, etc, then polishing is the only option you have.

Do you have to polish immediately after clay barring, or is it ok to clay bar and then polish the next day? Or will there be a risk of contaminants collecting on the car in that short amount of time?
