Even if you covered/protected the light with a clear bra just from a cleaning, wouldnt it come back out? Since its the lights plastic the one affected... Unless you mean to have it prof. cleaned and THEN apply the clear bra? I think that this way it would be GREAT.

I am talking about getting them back to clear first. Once you put the film on it seals the light from the outside elements. They will stay clean and clear.

Just don't use a gel (clear) toothpaste. I don't think it's abrasive enough to do anything. Any white paste should work, or one of those polishing (not bleaching) pastes might even work a bit better.
