Hazy Headlamps

I recently noticed that my headlams were getting that awful haze so I tried that Meguiars product... Plastix and I think it made it worse. Any ideas on how to deal with this problem??

Thanks

You should be applying the plastix until it goes clear and then remove with another microfiber.

3M Plastic Cleaner and 3M Plastic polish will work a miracle on the headlights! By the way, this isn't limited to Infiniti, it's all the newer cars with the plastic headlights, no exceptions!

Alright, I'll give PlastiX another try. If not I'll use toothpaste. If it doesn't work at least the headlamps will be minty fresh!

YOU CAN DO EITHER... but if you wet sand it know what your doing because you can mess up the surface of the plastic... colgates fine to use... thats what i used

I use flitz. Works really well. In really hazy spots you just do it over again.

the haze will always return because now you've stripped the UV protection from the plastic, you will now have to maintain the lights every month or so, wetsanding and wax are not going to fix the problem

Well my boy in Miami started this little headlamp claning business not too long ago. He has awesome prices and the lights come out BLING! it lasts over a year w/o having to touch it. Depends on how you treat your car ( wash, garage, etc ) . I have his number if you want it, great guy and hes local, he will come to your house and do the work. Less than $80 a pair i beleive

If you cover the light with clear bra film after cleaning them you will never have to touch them again.
