Talking Car washing for poor folks...

I am poor, and I live in an apartment...
No water hose to wash my car..
If I want to wash and wax my car MYSELF, where would you guys go?

I goto the coin wash, and washing is no problem.. but I gotta move my car after it's done washing because there are other poor folks in line..

my mama's house is 1100 miles away..

Go to a random person's house and just start washing it, worst they can do is ask you to leave.

go to the local car wash places, have them friendly essays take care of your wash, tip them a buc or 2 when done, then complain on the job they did so they can perfect it and call it a day!

I believe there's something called "waterless wash" thing. Try to google it up.

I just don't wash my car, lol.

I've washed it once since Dec. of '07.

I guess I just stopped caring...

I live in an apartment as well and wash my car once every 2 weeks. I have 2 buckets. I simply fill one bucket with soap and water and the other with just water. I use microfiber towels to wash, rinse and dry the car off in front of my building. Then detail it from there.

Wow, I need to know where to go too... My mom tore down the garage and made it into a living room.. I'm trying to convince her to build a car port on the side of the house.

Till then I go to local car washes to wash my car... 25 bucks a week.

i live in the most snootiest part of Irvine you cant think of next to Coto. They dont even want you working on your car in YOUR OWN garage. so i have to take my car to a 100% hand wash off Alton and have pedro and juan 1 and juan 2 wash it for me. I just tell them to use soap and water on my lips. dont want to mess up that clear coat (new rims)

$25 with tip. twice a month. in between washes i use the meguiars wax and pray and wipe down the car in the garage closed. and it looks like my car is clean all the time. but then that takes effort and most guys on here are lazy like me... haha... i rather play xbox live.

Back in NYC, I would go by an open hydrant, with soap and a bucket, and start washing.

That is BULL!

Here in scottsdale you can't have anything growing more than 6 inches on your property.. There are weeds in a back alley where garbage trucks go that we've gotten 150 dollar fines for... I never knew the alley way belonged to us
