Question Question for Black Obsidian G Owners

After washing and drying your car, what do you use for a quick detailer?

On a black exterior, some water spots inevitably show up after drying if I don't use a quick spray on detailer with a microfiber cloth to wipe it down.

I'm curious to know what others use?

Thanks, in advance, for your input.....

well, this depends on what type of protection your running? Sealant/Wax?
Most work fine, some give added protection, some give depth or gloss or both.

trick to relieve water spots is compress air. After my wash I blow out all the moldings/door jam/trunk/glass/grill and them I'm all set.

To get rid of water spots

try Meguiars http://www.meguiars.com/?car-maintenance/Quik-Detailer

I keep one in my car with an assortment of microfiber towels for bird droppings, etc.

Zaino also makes great products, although I haven't yet tried them.

Do you use an air compressor? Leaf blower?

Use Meg's Ultimate Quick Detailer. Awesome and can be picked up at local stores. I would recommend using it with Meg's NXT 2.0 (the new stuff). They are meant to work together. My car shines like crazy and looks wet and dark with the combo. I haven't even polished it yet this year and I am impressed.

I have recently become obsessed with the Chemical Guys lineup of products. I have used Meguiars for quick cleanups and bird drop emergencies, but sometimes it just doesn't wipe as clear and streak free as I would want it to. Check out: http://www.detailedimage.com/wax.php...Car-Wash-P189/ or the Poorboys mentioned above http://www.detailedimage.com/wax.php...y-Wipe-SW-P32/

You can't beat 10% and Greg's customer service that actually answers their phones AND answers questions. lol

I use Z-6, or Ultimate Quik Detailer. Z-8 if I want a little extra shine.

Poorboy quick detailer from Detailed Image is what I use. Although I've also used Meguiars and didn't notice much difference...
