Window Tinting Tape Marks?

Got my windows tinted on my G35 yesterday and I don't know if it's a good install or not.

Last time I had windows tinted was my 2000 Maxima and I don't remember this issue..

From the outside of the car, you can look in the back winddow and see a 'tape mark' that goes around the back window?

I didn't see it but someone who was checking out my car pointed it out to me now that's all I see when I look at it.

I didn't think this stuff was taped on?

Any thoughts?

Are you sure its a tape mark or if its just the dot matrix around the border of the window that the tint didn't stick to. Its a pretty common problem

Good thought but I am pretty certain it is tape..I haven't actually felt it but there's a visibile layer of build up from the window.
