Hi all,
Soooo I lent my girlfriend my car(first mistake, I know) as she was stuck in a bit of bind and desperately needed it.
She was parking the car in my underground stall, and as she was turning in, scraped the car on the big concrete column that is on the right side of my stall.
She didn't dent the car at all, luckily. There are about 5 or 6 scratches, centered right on/around the side light (the orange one). They are about 3-4 inches long, and really thin - about what you might picture getting if you scraped a mechanical pencil along the car (maybe what it looks like if your car gets keyed - I've never seen that before).
So what are my options? Can spot/touch-up paint from the dealer fix something like this? Or do I have to get the side of my bumper repainted?
Thanks for the help.

It really depends on the depth of the scratches. You stated really thin. You might like to try Meguiar's Scratch X and see what you can do. If that doesn't work, take it to a detailer and have them buff it out using a rotary buffer.
It is a mild polish. It doesn't fill in the scratch with paint and those product usually don't work well if at all. However, I recommend the ScratchX. It's good stuff. It'll at the very least make it a "little" less visible. But it wasn't really meant for big scratches that go through the clear all the way. It polishes the clear level scratches to get rid of those and swirl marks.
yah, scratchx and apply with a foam pad. use some elbow grease
work it in until it dries and pretty much dissappears. it's a diminishing
abrasive so you have to work it in until it is dry to get a nice clean
clearcoat.
it works pretty well on plastics too.
