Clearbra yellow thx to bugs! How to clean?

I had to drive to Beaumont about 7 days ago, and some bugs decided to comit suicide by getting in my G's way. I washed my car today and found that I have 3-4 spots that are now yellow on my clearbra thanks to suicidal bugs. Anyone ever encounter yellowing problems like that? And if yes, any solution to the problem? Thanks!!

I use Plexus to clean my clear bra. I've never had a problem with it yellowing, so not sure if that will help or not. You might ask in this thread. George from DI is very helpful and usually fairly quick in answering questions.

I had or having same problem with bug.

When I got clear bra, the installation guy told me about bug yellowing the surface. He said, the yellow spot will get bleached under the sun.

Since I park my car outside during the day time, my car get good sun light.
I am not sure if sun bleach the yellow spot or not as the guy told me, but at least the yellow spot disappear through out the time.

I hope this helps.

Thanks for the info. So the yellow spot did disappear off your car's clearbra?

Yes, it will go away, I used to really notice them on my '04, and was pissed at first, but then after a couple of days, poof, they were gone!

Yes, it did go away from my car's clearbra. (I have Ivory pearl G35).
As you can guess, the yellow spot is really easy to be seen if exist. Anyway, after couple days under the sun, it goes away.

By the way, one thing I didn't mention.

I detailed my car 2 week ago. Wash, Clay, Klasse All In One, 2 Coat of Klasse Sealant Glaze. (The Klasse twins was also applied on clearbra)
Since then, I don't see much yellow spot on smashed bug.
I think sealant prevents having yellow spot. (Not completely, but it helps a lot to reduce)

I know what i do is probably overkill but i use plexus and spray it on spots where i killed the bugs and wipe them off with a microfiber cloth. I do this every day at night. I also wax the clear bra once every 3 weeks and after half a year its still good as new.

Klasse AIO is a chemical cleaner, which will solve the bug problem in two ways - the chemical will clean it, the contained protection will help avoid it (better still apply KSG as well)

I always use isopropyl alchohol on it. Just dab it on and let it soak. It will go away pretty quickly. Whatever you do, do not scrub with anything abrasive or you will scuff up the finish.

I use one of those mesh covered sponges as I wash the car.

too late now, but even with a clearbra, you should still painter's tape the
front end on long trips.

There is no reason to use tape over the clear bra for trips.
