Touch Up Paint
Touch Up Paint
Sorry to post this here, but there wasn't a lot of search results for this subject. Someone decided to put a really nice, long, deep scratch on my car (near the driver side mirror). I saw that people have suggested Lanka. Has anyone used Infiniti's paint touch up pen?
Any suggestions is greatly appreciated!

I did not know there was such a thing. I bought the touch up
paint for my Twilight Blue, didn't know there was a pen. Gotta
get one now!

Re: Touch Up Paint
I have the Infiniti touch up bottle which includes a brush. I was not aware of a "pen", but the bottle may be what you want. Unless it is a relatively short and discrete scratch, I would not use touch up paint. It works well for nicks, but scratches are hard to fill with the stuff without looking sloppy.

Re: Touch Up Paint
The Infiniti touch-up pen I had was horrible. A waste of money. Get the bottle with a brush.
Peeps have had success with Lanka. Check in Detailing Forum.

Re: Touch Up Paint
I got both the pen and the bottle, but only tried the pen so far. Wasn't too impressed with it, but then again it's only touch up paint. I got it because of the clear coat side and got the brush set as a backup.
By the way, my local Nissan dealer never heard of the pen either and few sites seem to have it. Hmm...

Re: Touch Up Paint
I haven't tried the Langka product with scratches yet (just chips). With some patience, I'm sure you can get some decent results.
You may want to consider one of the airbrush touch-up "artists" Quite a few dealerships use them and the work is usually outstanding and reasonably priced.
