Rust Particles on paint
Hi guys,
My brakes (rotors and pads on 04' MT with Brembo OEM) on all four corners recently ran out. I had to wait a week to get my rotors replaced. During that time, my pad backing was grinding against my rotor and these rust particles came off. Now the particles have covered one wheel severely ( as in full on orange) and I can see flakes doting the paint on the driver side and rear of my car (the driver side rear wheel was the rusty one). To make matters worse, I have a ivory pearl.
Is there any product out there that could clean this off without damaging the paint or should i dry polish/wax? Your help is much appreciated.

The first thing you should try is clay. Clay is meant to remove contaminants from the surface of paint. With that much metal in the paint though, be sure to use a fresh surface fairly often. Also, be sure to polish after. You don't want to use a polish with the rust still in the paint. You'll be grinding the metal into the paint and creating a headache. You can clay the wheels as well.
