cleaning windows...
Is there anything wrong with using newspaper and glass cleaner for the windows? Has anybody found something that's more effective at cleaning the windows without leaving the streak marks?
there are some microfiber towels out there that i use to clean my glass. they are two sided, one that is more of a scrubbing side and one that is more of a polishing final wipe side. i use meguiars glass cleaner from the detailer line. as long as the surface hasnt sat in the sun all day i do not have a problem.
Any type of generic glass cleaner works fine. I also use this "invisible glass" tool - it was pretty cheap, and makes cleaning the inside windows really easy.

Go old school..........and use white vinegar and warm to hot water with a MF towel. You will be amazed how easy it is and clean the windows are after using. Plus no messy hands after.
PS I read somewhere (I think here) newspapers are not what they used to be for cleaning glass. Something with the ink they used years past and today.
Try it and you will never go back to anything else.

I've never liked newspaper for some reason. MF towel for me. Now if I could just find a cleaner I like. I've always used Stoners, but lately it seems to be streaking more than ever.
