Optimum no rinse?

Anyone using this product yet? Just curious about the one bucket method or if you still use two, for whatever reason.

I dunno, seems like a great theory but is it really beneficial in the end. Could just see it hurting the finish eventually.

Its great stuff. It hasn't been shown to marr the surface any more than a traditional car wash by the numerous autopians who use it on a regular basis. I personally use the 2 bucket method, but thats more for my own reassurances than a necessity.

product is a good one. i use it a lot. i use the two bucket (3 bucket if you count wheels) with this even though it says it isnt recommended. i also use a small chemical sprayer (.5 or 1 gallon) with a mix of water and onr and use it as a presoak. good stuff.

It's an awesome product, I do pre-soak as well with a sprayer.

Don, you sell it? How much and at what quantity? I'm interested in getting it. Been using Meguiar's Gold Class.

I don't, but it's available at Glimmer Glass Detailing (a distributor of Migliore). I have linked the gallon size, it does come in a 16 oz size as well I believe.

autogeek.net has the big sizes of ONR. I think it's $39.99 for 128oz jug. You can use coupon codes for 10% off

Good stuff, I use a sprayer to presoak. I just do a single bucket with grit guard. First I do the paint (top-down) then the wheels last. same bucket and mix, just do the wheels last so the brake dust doesn't contaminate the wash. I use a sheepskin mit for the paint and and old microfiber for the wheels. I hardly ever bust out the hose nowdays, this is so much easier. It's a shame too becuase I just bought a foam gun and it never gets used.

Love the ONR...best product I've bought in years. Not only for its ease, but I think the shine and slickness is better than any other shampoo I've used. Like DHCrocks said...I rarely actually bring out the hose anymore. Only when I need to get wheelwells and underside.

I love this stuff, it is the best. I bought it about a month ago and have washed our cars many times since then. My husband was skeptical but now he loves the stuff and can't believe how well it works.

ONR is one of the best detailing products to ever be on the market... not only can you use it for washing, but also as a clay bar lubricant (mixed at a different ratio)...

Another similar product that I have used for years is Protectall's Quick and Easy Wash (QEW). It is a bit cheaper, I think.

I use a 2-bucket method, both with grit guards and have had no issues with marring. If the car really needs to be washed (not just dust removal!) I will often pre-soak it.
