If there were swirl marks then the detailer probably polished it with a rubbing compound and ate away all your wax, and a little clear coat for that matter. You can have the swirls buffed out with a finer compound, or certain waxes like Z5 may hide them.

Cheap wax and swirl marks makes me question that detailer a little. But I dunno much about detailers so maybe that's standard practice.
