I have had my G for little over 5 months and now that summer is rolling around I’m looking to get the windows tinted. I was wondering, for any of you that live in Maryland, if you have got this done and have any suggestions of where I should go. Preferably somewhere in the central Maryland region (Baltimore, D.C. and anywhere in between). Also any suggestions on what % are welcome as well. Thanks.

 

I got my G35C tinted at United Solar Tinting in Laurel, MD. He charged $140 and did a great job! Haven't had a single problem in the 6 or so months I've had it. Mark is the owner and he does a great job. A few of the Capital G Club members have gone there with similar (spectacular) results.

United Solar (Mark Johnson) 301.933.3775 - - mine was the first Coupe he tinted, back in Dec 02. No problems. Plus, he tinted Michael Jordan's new Benz, when he was still in town...so you can't go wrong. I have 18% on my BS Coupe. Talk to Mark; he can probably recommend a good tint for your G!!!

I'd recommend Matt over at TNT Tint in Alexandria? Why? Because he does the most amazing job I have ever seen done tint-wise on a car and I've seen a TON. The guys there specialize in BMW's (which was my old car and got done there). You can literally look an inch away from the car and not see any lines towards the ends of the windows. Absolutely no bubbles and 15-year guarantee. Chances are you won't be keeping the car that long so just think of it as for the life of your car. I highly recommend this place. I actually just had a friend come down from PA to get his WRX tinted there and he didn't regret coming all that way for such a great job.

Note: I am in no way affiliated with the place at all. Just know they do a stand-up job. Since I just got my G35C a few days ago I will be going there soon.

 

Does United Solar Tinting use Solargard tint??? Your car probably has the greenish tint on it then right?
