Cleaning

How long should I wait after manufacture before my first wash for the paint to cure well enough?

What do folks generally recommend for washing and drying? I'm afraid of the touchless washes because they are such high pressure and the rails that you put the wheels in could scratch my chrome.

Is a hand wash the best? What soap and cloth?

How about regular homeowner pressure washers?

Re: Cleaning

30 days after manufacturing, or even a repaint is the usual norm. For my G...I only hand wash. I use a armour all concentrate soap, along with an "Absorber" towel. I also use "LEX" advanced paint sealant.....its the best product I have ever tried, and its so easy to apply evenly. Just my 2 cents...but lots of others like Crystal Guard and Zaino.

Re: Cleaning

sorry ....for the actual washing part I use a synthetic lambs wool mit (on one side) and a bug mesh debris remover on the other side of the mit.
