Applying Klasse
Applying Klasse
Couple of questions: Can you apply it in the sun? Is it OK/advisable to use an orbital hand polisher for application and removal? Do you need to put the sealant glaze on right after or can you do it later ie a week later? Any hints or tips for the best results?
Thanks

Re: Applying Klasse
You can apply it in the sun, it just makes it a bit hard to buff off after it has hazed over. As for application, you should probably stick to a regular applicator pad, I'm not sure if you can use an Orbital buffer or not. Klasse is a two-step process, so yeah, you really should apply the Sealant Glaze right after the All-In-One.
Some tips:
The Sealant Glaze is a bit difficult to remove.
Use very little product...a nickel-sized amount is good for half a car hood.

Best if you do it in the shade, it will make your life much easier.....it allows the product to dry at a slower rate, and not allow it to evaporate so fast....
Definitely follow up with the sealant glaze, and if you have the time, do a top coat of P21s or S100 carnuaba wax....it will put the finishing touch on your wax job....
I have done the Klasse route back in April, and my car is not garaged.......I usually wash my car at least once or twice a week, and follow up with detail spray after each wash....
Now that I've gone about 6 weeks into the waxing, I noticed some of the swirl marks re-appearing, and the finish is slightly lost its ability to shed water.....
I will try this system once more and see if it will last any longer....if not I think the next shot will be the Zaino route.....

GR8TG35, just go with Zaino. It really brings out the paint and the stuff is extremely strong and durable. 2 coats of Zaino will last reliably for over 6 months. Only one way to purchase it (from the web site) and the initial investment isn't cheap, but you use very little product for each coat, it lasts way longer than the average car wax (and protects better, too), and it makes your car shine like nobody's business.

You can also remove the AIO while it is still semi wet. The product works no matter where you apply it=sun or shade. You don't have to use the sealant but it does make the AIO last longer. If you like to wax you car once a month then you won't need the sealant. Some of us like to cover all the bases just in case we don't have time to wax as often as we like.
