How long will it take to detail my car?

So I want to remove the water spots and swirls from my car. There are two places I'm considering but still hesitant as I don't know if they are reputable. Anyways, I was wondering how long I will be without my car if I take it a place to get washed and detailed. First time doing this and my car is in need of extra treatment.

If you want it done well with the peace of mind knowing somebody you trust (hopefully) did your car do it yourself. It will take about a day or so maybe more depending on how bad your paint is.

Where are you located? An exterior only detail could take anywhere from 1- 3+ days, there are tons of variables.

^+1! if your water spots already went into your undercoat like mine did, then your gonna need the works, including wet sand, if that needs to be done, if you want to get it done right then your looking at 48 hours

that all depends on if they're etched in or how severe they are. Just out of curiousity since your in Richmond, if you got your car detailed. Where did you take it to?

i havent taked it yet...its still winter, im doing it in May, but there are a few places,

i herd good things about bashir's auto detailing, another place is Unique Detailing, they do really good jobs but they are pricey, my brother's car was a test subject for DTP 2008 so they did his for free, that would have been 1000, and thats not there most expensive one, the most expensive one is 2500 i think, they wet sand it all the way down, then prime it and and a new clear coat and cure it for 24 hours then detail it

i also herd a few good things about richmond auto spa, but i cant be for certain

Theres a new shop opening this coming week. Called autowerkes exclusive detailing. He goes by the user 911fanatic on revscene if your on there and hes on detailingbliss.com. The work he does, does not even compare to unique. Not putting them down or anything, but 911fanatic does amazing work. I've heard bad things about unique.
