It looks pretty good actually, but the tint doesn't look even to me. It looks too dark on the reverse light area.

is there a picture of this with an actual IP coupe? My buddy was thinking of doing the exact same thing with his IP

Holy crap that looks good. Where and how was it done? are the lights still easy to see through the tint?

I agree, looks great on a black coupe, don't think it would turn out too good on any other color, maybe red?

That looks great! However those rims are not my style. And to answer that other guys question..... You will have no problem seeing the lights through the tint...if u hadnt already noticed our LED lights are the brightest on the road. If anything, the tint will help retain other drivers' vision from our blinding brake lights.

Looks amazing. Finally someone has done this exactly how I was thinking of. Looks like a viper comp. coupe's tails. Excellent work. Please post up exactly what materials were used and a "how to".

Ducatiadam-- thanks I wasn't really sure... I always forget how bright those LED's are.

I second that, I want to know how it was done. Seeing as there are many tight edges on the taillight, it prob wasn't an overlay. My guess is it was some kind of tinting paint

I found the pic while browsing for G35 stuff on eBay. It's for sale...the car that is. I'm guessing this guy used VHT Nightshades, which is a taillight tint spray. And I think he masked off the taillight/turn signal area. To me it looks like those spots aren't tinted.

I think that looks awesome. Perhaps doing the entire assembly with a 50% tint would be a good compromise in terms of looks and functionality. A how to would be awesome. I'd be willing to try if it didn't involve baking the assembly.
