I had a small scratch on my rear quarter (down to the metal). Right where it meets the bumper. I grabbed some touch up paint from Nissan, some saran wrap, 3M rubbing compound, and a hair dryer.
I dabbed a very minute amount of paint onto the scratch and covered it with the saran wrap to flatten/smooth it out. (I can't remember if I used the dryer here or not, that was over a year ago ). I then used rubbing compound to help blend it in even more. After doing this process a few times I waxed it for protection. No one has noticed it yet, even when I've pointed it out . It isn't perfect, but it's pretty good for a few bucks

you can buy the sticker at pep boys its like 5 bucks and plenty to go around your car 5 or 6 times. they will not put the old one back on. i would still need to see some pics and i might be able to mask what you have. i just need to see how bad it is. As for it is cold out there. If it goes down to metal you need to put something on it so salt and water does not make it rust. Then if you can touch it up the rust will pop back out pis sing you off.

It will be ok i think we all might be able to help you out. If we cant fix it, we can mask it till you can get it fixed. dont stress it will be ok

So much cheaper and easier than repainting...

Of course you probably don't have most of the tools, but you can probably get the paint and sandpaper, do that part yourself, and then just take it to a detailer and get it buffed out.

That's only if it's to the metal. If it still has paint, you can probably just get it wetsanded and buffed out without the need for touch-up paint.
