spoilers...options?

Well, I bought my car about 6 months ago, and at the time I wasn't a fan of the rear spoiler for the coupe. Now, unfortunatly, the spoiler has grown on me, and I'm wishing I had something back there so my trunk doesnt look so plain without it. I'm not totally against just getting the stock wing, but if anyone has any suggestions/prices as to what would be better financially or appearance, any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Personally I really enjoy the look of the stock spoiler...And if you get up close to it and take notice of its shape its actually very sexy...Many people compliment on my spoiler..The only other one I'd think about getting is the INGS kit...I drool every time I see it, but its so expensive...G'luck

Ditto^! But the small lip spoilers still aren't growing on me real well. I don't want anything larger than stock so I'm left pretty satisfied with the stock piece... ...possibly in carbon fiber.

Re: spoilers...options?

hey man
i feel the exact same way. the oem wing looks good directly from the rear. when you are standing up and looking down at it it doesnt look as good. i orig didnt want the oem wing cause i didnt want everyone else had. im not feeling any of the lip spoilers either. i like the look of the veilside wing but thats way too crazy. i already have haters at work and i dont need to attract anymore attention.

i posted something a little while back. thinking about putting some sort of universal spoiler on our cars. i always like the mugen style spoilers some preludes had on. i test fitted it at a shop and it was too straight and hanged off the side a little too much. below is the pix. i like it cause it kinda has the oem feel yet its original on our Gs.

my advice, as i will do myself, is hope something comes out for our cars. i wouldnt give in a put on an oem spoiler.
maybe i can talk to some shops and see if they can design something.

Re: spoilers...options?

awesome...thanks for the input guys, i guess there really isnt a lot of options out for the coupe still...most likely i will either get the stock one or just wait it out. i didnt realize the stock one was quite that expensive, for some reason i thought the salesman told me the day i bought it that they would stick one on there for me for an extra $500...that could have been something he was saying to me just to get a little extra out of me while he still had me in the room...thanks again

Re: spoilers...options?

I feel the same as the stock spoiler has grown to my liking. Has anyone went with the cheaper oem version that I've been seeing which could save us a few bucks, and still get the exact look?

Thanks
