Re: Anyone Try The Crystal Guard Stuff?

FastBlack. I thaught that at the begining, that was the main reason I was hesitant.. Then I began reading all of the posts on different message boards about how good CG is.. Then after reading what TAKO was saying.. I highly doubt G35DRIVER.COM would refer anyone to a bad product, espically if the tip is from a moderator.

I should get my shipment here Monday/Tues.. Ill apply it and take pics for you guys.. but im very exited.

Pesti, whatever you do, don't put it on your tire treads!

Let us know how it works. Sounds like a good product. Maybe Zaino users might have a reason to switch!

How is that different from seeing a puddle, turning off the VDC, and gunning it? *grin*

Re: Anyone Try The Crystal Guard Stuff?

Will CG get rid of swirl marks on black paint or can that be only taken care of by polish?
Thanks

Just remember, dont get any water on it for 3-5 days until the CrystalGaurd has fully cured or sealed, and then it will be at its shiny'ist and most protective (according to the video)

Re: free CG in SF area

Tako,
I just got my G35 coupe today and I'm interested in using CG on it. I'm in the SF Bay area and I'm wondering if the offer to go to your shop for a free application of CG is still available? I'm also considering putting 3M "clear bra" on the front end. Is the CG enough of a coating to protect against rock chips? Should I put CG on first then clear bra or clear bra first then CG?

Re: free CG in SF area

is the quick wipe comparable to the quality i would get from using the primer base and top coat setup?
