What clay and lube you using?

Just trying to get an idea of what clay and lube to get next.

Been using Meguiar's Mild clay bar and Meguiar's Quik Detailer for lube.

What do most of you use? Clay Magic, Meguiar's, Chemical Guys?

Also, with Clay Magic Medium bar, is any polishing needed after using it or is it still pretty mild?

I've tried both and have had good results with both. For some reason the SHO paint liked the Mother's better and the G35 paint liked the Meguiar's. Probably due to the age of the paint.

Yea thats weird, ive never had that problem. Maybe your paint just had a lot of contaminants embedded in it

+1 on Poorboy's Spray & Wipe as clay bar lube. Also Chemical Guys Synthetic Quick Detailer works well too. I like using S&W because it has cleaners in it which helps remove some of the contamination easier.

With any medium grade bar, chances are you're going to encounter some micro-marring in your paint, which will require some polishing to remove.

Hope this helps.
