rub, rub, and rub some more. If there's clay left on the paint usually that means one of a few things: The clay was too hot (paint was too hot), you didn't use enough lube, your clay bar is done-for, or you bought a junk clay bar to begin with.

yep, its more important that whatever lube you're using is "approved" for the clay that you're using.

if not, the clay will either not lift the contaminants as efficiently (too slick of a lube = more passes with clay = more potential for marring), or the clay will stick to the paint (more marring)

i personally use Prima Glide with Meguiars Blue (Mild) clay, or Red (aggresive) clay.

haha i was talking about cars in the past i've only used mild on the g35.

but yes, any aggressive clay bars will leave marring that will need machine polishing. however,once polished, it comes out supppperrr slick

yep a PC or Flex will lift those light swirls out pretty easy .... if the paint has never been clayed before and the car is more than 2 years old, i'd go red clay as well

My ***** aren't big enough to use a PC on my baby...I'm afraid to hurt her!!
