I have the stock 18 in rims with the 6MT package and last night I rubbed up against a curb and scratched the outer rim and one of the spokes. Are our rims painted? Can the scratches be buffed out and the rim repainted? Anybody know of a way to fix them myself or some one in LA or Sacramento area to fix them? Thanks in advance.

 

Try this site. I think they have a location in LA and SF amongst others. From what I have seen from other threads on this site, this place is pretty good.

From my research, our rims' paint is extremely difficult to match but supposedly this place comes the closest. You may want to wait depending on how bad it is (not to jinx ya, but it may happens again). I think they can turn around a rim in a day or two.

Let me know how you make out b/c I have 1 rim with curb rash and another was scratched, I think, from the mechanics air gun at my dealer.
