ONR as quick detailer?

Hey all,

I use Optimum NR to keep my car clean, but the bottle says use 8 oz. ONR to 1 gallon of water as a quick detailer. Has anyone out there used it like this and what were your impressions?

Thanks for helping a brother out!!

it works well as a cleaning quick detailer, but leaves a lot to be desired in the looks department. If you are wanting to use it for removing dusting/bird poop it works great. IF you are wanting to use it right after a wash to enhance the look, then go with something else. It works great as a clay bar lubricant as well

ONR is a wash and is great at what it was designed for. Like redlude97 said
it works great as an inexpensive clay lube. With that said once again it
is a wash not a polish and not a wax. Adding some to your wash water
also helps minimize water spotting.

I use it all the time as a quick cleaner/detailer
& I use Z6 or Z8 post wash, to enhance.
