How often do you detail your G35?

I have a black G35 and I used to be so lazy detailing my old car which was a black 97 integra. Until I got this G35 I started to like detailing cars but the bad side of black is that everything shows. Swirls for example. I wash my car once a month and every week I would wipe it along with the Meguires NXT spray wax. I still have a ton of swirls but everything will go away once the Pinnacle kit comes. Going to be some fun but it was pretty expensive so I will only be waxing/polishing it once every 6 months and wiping it twice a month.

Isn't NXT only for clean cars? Try a quick detailer, like mothers showtime. It smells good.

I wash my car when it's dirty, clean out my trunk once a week and vacuum the interior once every 2 weeks. I condition the leather once a month and strip the wax off and rewax/seal once a month.

I have a lot of time on my hands and like clean cars. I'll spray it down with mothers showtime when it looks a little dirty and I don't feel like getting into the soap and bucket.

As far as I go, a full detail encompasses the following: wash, claying, polishing, wax. That's the general idea for me as far as detailing goes. This gets done about twice a year. Someimtes I clay and re-wax depending on the condition every month or 3 months(if it sits out int he sun the whole day, etc...)

between the glaze and the wax, how long should i wait. im not sure if i can apply the wax right after the glaze or if i have to wait a couple of hours.

There's no need to wait between removing a glaze and applying a wax. The only time there is a benefit of waiting is if you are waiting for a protective layer (sealant or wax) to cure before applying another coat or product on top of it.

I recommend the following schedule:

Wash & dry: weekly
Wash & wax & quick interior: monthly
Wash, sealant & wax: summer & winter
Wash, clay, polish, glaze (optional), seal, wax, full interior, engine bay: spring & fall

The key is to make sure your paint and other surfaces are protected year round. If you know your wax only lasts 3 weeks, you want to re-wax every 3 weeks. If you're sealant lasts 4 months, then you can re-seal every 4 months.

If you're only washing once a month, but you're wiping it down once a week, there is the cause of the swirls. Only wipe down a clean car, otherwise you're just creating more problems than helping.

I wash at least once a week with ONR, then once a month or so I will pull out the hoses and do the wells too. I seal about every other month because I wash so much I don't get as much durability. Interior I wipe down and vacuum once a week. Twice a year I do a two stage polish.
