Most of them really weren't scratches in terms of the paint being removed. Most of the morks were from the other car scraping against his car and leaving steaks of paint behind. There were some small deep scratched I couldn't get out but they had to be pointed out to see. Some of the other marks that were scratches weren't deep enough where they couldn't be polished out.

I know this thread is 6 months old, but that is astonishing.

That's the first time I've seen the TI wheels on a car, they looks pretty amazing.

Based on the amount of time he spent, I'd guess at least $700....I'd probably be somewhere closer to $1,000.

Certainly worth every penny! These are permanent details and as long as they're maintained correctly, the car will never look anywhere near like it did in the before pics!

Wow I was surprised to see this again, thanks for the nice words guys. Believe it or not I charged $275 for this job. I could have easily charged $400+ but I like helping our locals guys out. The economy sucks and most can't afford what I should be charging. This was by far the worst car I've ever detailed and if I had another one to do like this, I would for sure charge more than $275. My hands hurt just thinking about this car.

Great job. Now it's critical to teach the owner how to look after his paint so it doesn't get like that again.

That's for damn sure, and kicking the azz of the previous 'detailer' who messed it up. You'd have to try really hard to do that bad a job.
