A detail is NEVER permanent. After you get your car detailed or if you detail it yourself. Then it's YOUR job to make sure you keep detailing it to keep it like that.

The paint correction techniques like polishing and etc people usually use like once every year or once every few years then afterwards you bascially just make sure you keep it wash and waxed CORRECTLY and it'll stay looking great for a longgg time.

wow!! I have a black Z myself and definitely needs to get a detail... anyone have any recommendations in the bay area?

Menzerna polishes really are the best

+1 on Menzerna. Though I semi freaked out the first time I used it because of how fast it flashed.
After the final polish, it does finish very very nice though.
