Looks great. I did my first "real" detail this weekend. I spent a good 5 hours Friday and another hour on Saturday. I was also occupied with kids, laundry, and other dad duties so I think I could have done a much better job. I used Megs wash and clay bar, Poorboys SSR2 polish, Poorboys EX-P sealant, and Natty's Blue paste wax. I got the car out of the garage on Sunday and I was amazed! I used a PC7424 with orange and white pads. I'll snap some pics this week.

only 5 hours! I spent all day Wednesday woke up at 8 and finished at 10pm, Full wash, clay, and took 10 hours to polish with M105. Next day 6 hours with M205, then a wash then wax. I did 2 layers 12 hours apart.

Trust me, I should have spent more time! The heat combined with family things left me with a "hasty" 6 hour job. Although the end result is good, I could have spent more time polishing. Also, I didn't even touch the glass, engine, or interior. My interior is always clean though.

Nice work, man! I gave mine it's first detail last weekend. Actually, that was the first time I'd really spent an entire morning (4-5 hours) washing, claying, waxing a car.

Guys your cars look great. Bourbon, is that a DG 04 I see? It almost looks like Lakeshore Slate in that light.

^ Thanks. It's an '05 AT Lakeshore Slate. I was in the Garage with no overhead lights on. Couldn't believe the amount of crud that clay pulled off of it.

Are those 03-04 wheels? That's what threw me off.

As far as I know, they're just the stock wheels that came on it. I bought it used, but the window sticker says 17" wheels (I know, I need bigger ones). I just assumed that was the base wheel for the '05. I'd love to have new wheels, just not right now.

Nice job. From a couple of the after pics it looks like there might be some slight marring. Just make sure you're working the polish long enough.

Those 17s are the base wheels on the coupe.

Looks great!
