Can you wax to early?

I got my car last thursday (7/29), and I waxed it with NanoWax on Sunday (8/1). Is it bad to wax the car that early after it's built, or does it not matter?

Thanks!

To my knowledge, the factory paint is baked on at extremely high temps. This coupled with the long shipping time means that our G's paint is well cured by the time they arrive at the dealer. Wax away!

On a related note. I'm getting my Gialla grill painted right now. When can I put Zaino on it after I get it back?

I would ask the body shop. They should bake it, but who knows. They may tell you to wait 4-8 weeks.

Sometimes....when I get out there in the driveway at 3 am...with the spot lights on.....the neighbors get ticked off! So ...I would say yes...you can wax too early.

Re: Can you wax to early?

Well, I just check the FAQ on their website and they don't recommend waxing or polishing for the first 90 days! I guess the first time I put Zaino on my Gialla grill would be in preperation for winter.

Re: Can you wax to early?

So does that mean 4 days was a little to early?
I hope I didn't harm the paint in anyway by waxing it too early.
I mean, it looks extremely shiney!
