Anbuzero Detailed: 04 Mercedes Benz C240
Hey everyone been a few weeks since my last write up. Heres my aunt's daily driver. This car had a good amount of contamination on the paint and it was heavily swirled from being taken to the car wash regularly. The interior was in good shape. Probably the best I've seen in a while lol As i posted in a previous thread for the correction on the car i used Menzerna SIP and Orange Pads and was surprised to find it finished down LSP ready with one pass of my PC at 5. A yellow pad and Menz SIP was used on some areas. Theres about 130 pictures so if you have slow internet take a coffee/beer break. Whole job took 28 hours over the course of 3 days.

Car completely clayed
Also picked this up at Harbor Freight while i was there, I think I paid around $50. All steel with rubber wheels and it has 3 shelves. I put some protective foam on the edges to avoid any scratches on the car. This was also a huge lifesaver and time saver. I would load it up with the necessary products for the job at the time, (Wash, Claying, Polishing, Wax). This was a bargain compared to the Rubbermaid one which is like $100+ :crasy:
Polishing the trunk:
A lot of swirls from the car wash :shakehead:
Healthy reading on the paint of the car all over the place. Readings were between 4.5 and 5.5
After one pass of SIP via orange pad
Great clarity after the one pass, Left side uncorrected, right corrected:
Close up of before polishing one spot
After:
More swirls all over the place and a few RIDS
Taped up and prepped for surgery
Hood correction:

Dont know if this is considered meticulous or crazy

Even more intense swirls and water spot etching compliments of your local "scratch and shine"
Delirious while polishing at 5am
Emblem before:
Emblem after P21S Finish Restorer
Trunk Jamb
Afters:
A little bit of dust got on here before the picture :sorry:
Some parts were faded and could not be fixed without dying the plastic
Steering wheel doesn't hide the cars age or use. :/
Had the hood up and saw an opportunity for a nice reflection shot
Hope you enjoyed it. As always any and all comments/suggestions are welcome.
