longest lasting SEALANT

hey guys... I dont have tons of time to detail and wax my car too often, so the sealant I use needs to last a long time. Also, right now I have to park it outside.

Right now, I've been using Jeff's Werkstatt and it's nice but I'm not happy with it's durability.

So what do you guys recommend for a very long-lasting sealant? Zaino?

Thanks

Use this product called "Liquid Glass". It's a brown square can with an old school Vett on it. Works awesome, just clay bar before using though.

Menzerna Full Molecular Jacket. Not too pricey, easy to apply, easy to remove, good shine/gloss, long lasting durability.
One of my preferred basic sealants.

Zaino's Z2/Z5 sealants are the most durable that I have used to date. Menzerna FMJ is a very close second though. I prefer FMJ over Zaino for it's extreme ease of use.

How long a sealant will last will greatly depend on your what your routine is. For example, do you wash your G by hand or take it to an automatic car wash? What car soap do you use? In any case, for me, Zaino Z2/Z5 will last me for at least 6 months, while FMJ is usually 5 or 5.6 months.

mm 6 months, I hand wash weekly, and use Megs Gold Class Soap. I am now parking in the garage at my school, so no more sitting in the sun. My car is black so when ever it sits in the sun for long periods it can reach 190F which is close to boiling point. But when I start working it will be out in the sun again. Does your car stay in sun at any point?

I am very interested in that product if it does last 6mo

can you link me to the "Zaino Z2/Z5" I looked and all I could find were polishes not sealants.

haha did you mean 5.5 months, or are you just really accurate at telling when the sealant breaks down? haha

anyway, i would really like something that lasts all winter.... so i think i may check out the zaino or menzerna FMJ.... unless somebody has any other good suggestions

Zaino lists their Z2/Z5 products as polishes but they are in fact sealants.

LOL, good catch! I actually meant 5.5 months!

Last weekend I applied FMJ and that will get me through until the spring.

i wash it by hand every 2 weeks or so, but occasionally take it to the laser wash. its in the sun sometimes but not usually direct sun. i do park it under some trees but they dont drop a lot of crap on it, but i do wanna protect it well from what does fall
