Moldings Removed = Holes

I have a 2003 G35 Sedan and i removed the side moldings for a cleaner look. There are 3 holes for the rear doors and 4 in front that are used to hold the side moldings in place.

Does anyone know if i need to seal these holes to protect from water? Or does the water not reach anything inside the actual door panel?

Thanks,
Shaun

Re: Moldings Removed = Holes

to answer your question, if water gets in, it will rust the interior and mold might form...

im answering this using logic and common sense, i might be wrong, but im sure im right!

anyhow, why would u want visible holes on your car? it looks TACKY!

Re: Moldings Removed = Holes

i don't want visible holes. i just want to know if i have to take care of the problem this weekend or if it can wait.

i'm looking for something to cover them up with...the holes are small enough that a dark tint would work.

any suggestions?
