I was cleaning up my gf's 07 rabbit the other day (not to this level of detail) and the rear hatch and bumper really do get a lot of grit embedded in the paint. That part of the car felt like a light sandpaper prior to cleaning it up.

Detail looks incredible, it is surprising what can be fixed in the paint.

No, thank you for checking the thread out and thanks for the compliment.. Since we're in the G35 forum I won't agree with you about the GTI . I agree it has beautiful lines but I prefer the power I get from my G

Thanks a lot I appreciate it. Yes it is a surprise to a lot of my clients in regards to what can be fixed but then again there are also limits. Thanks again for looking.

It's essential in making sure we don't polish more than we can and it's also great to bring any paint issues to the attention of our clients. Thanks for reading and the comment.

It's hard to say thank you to these types of comments Greekboy. I try to stay as humble and as grounded as possible. I know there is always something new that I personally learn or least try to learn. So thank you for looking at my thread and thank you for your compliments. I'll try to get up more threads that help with DIY.

Cheers,
Nick

Yeap M105 and 205 are very versatile. I like using different pads with it. Thanks for reading the write up. He's already seen the before and after and he said he's said the cars never been this clean.

After seeing that rail dust in there and the bird strike, I was honestly thinking that this car doesn't deserve such care.

I can't wait to get to my next duty station so I can get more into detailing. My car is about the best one on the block, but sometimes I just want more.

That's why you need the protection of a good detail. It's as much about protection as good looks.

Hey Alec. Thanks but the car shows off herself quite nicely. If you could define "normal" that would be great. For example did you mean a wash and wax? new car prep?

All the power to you. A large part of these threads is to encourage owners to detail their cars and keep them in pristine condition. Have fun at your next duty station. BTW it's always good to want more. Never settle

Proper vehicle protection will help against dirt and mudraining. It will be so much easier for you to maintain your vehicle once you get a good solid foundation of paint to work form ie. well protected. Give detailing a try, your car will definitely thank you.

Cheers,
Nick
