Simple Green

Anyone tried this on their wheels & tires? I used to use it when detailing my bike, but it's been a long time.
My concern is leaving discolorations on the stock sport rims. I'm guessing it would do a great job on the brake dust problem using a spray bottle.

Re: Simple Green

I use Simple Green (full strength) on my wheels and exhaust tips, works great.

Re: Simple Green

Simple Green Automotive is just 1 part full strength to about 10 to 20 parts water. I bought the automotive bottle to get the foam trigger and now I mix my own. Bought a gallon of full strength over 3 years ago and still have 1/4 left. I use it on my Chevy truck and G35 wheels. Works great.

Re: Simple Green

Per the bottle you can use it as a degreaser.
I am thinking of using it to clean my G35 engine. Engine is not really dirty but I need some thing to clean it. I have the concentrated gallon bottle.

Any suggestions? anyone used it before?
Thanks

Re: Simple Green

I use it to clean my engine about once a month, works great. Make sure that the engine is cold, spray it down with the simple green, give it a minute then hose it off. Be sure not to spray water into your air filter though. You can do a wipe down if you hate water spots.
